**Position: Production Technician** ​ **Role and Responsibilities** + Maintains safety standards at all times, initiates and follows emergency procedures + Monitors and operates facility equipment, including field equipment ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures to meet business targets + Collects, validates and records accurate production data into the relevant data system + Resolves problems encountered in keeping the area on target with team members + Participates in Shift-to-Shift hand over to enable consistent communication across the shifts + Performs equipment care utilizing appropriate policies, procedures and schedules + Documents relevant troubleshooting information on production, equipment and system performance issues and applies Root Cause Analysis (RCA) accordingly + Generates ‘Model Work Request’ for equipment repairs with all needed information + Prepares equipment and work permits for maintenance activities + Applies own competencies to capture and implement improvement ideas **Education and Experience** + Diploma/Bachelors/master's degree in agriculture or equivalent + Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Corteva Agriscience™ is an equal opportunity employer.
