The PositionIn this role, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital solutions within Microsoft Power Platform portfolio containing Power Apps, Power Automate, Co-Pilot Studio, Dataverse, AI Builder and Power Pages. You will be leveraging the benefits of current and upcoming technologies, providing relevancy for all Novo Nordisk employees and ensuring that our products are secure and compliant together with the team members.
We are an organization based on the SAFE agile framework, and as product owner you will be responsible for one of eight product areas. You will work proactively with the Scrum Master to ensure team efficiency. The team consists of IT architects, service managers, business analysts, and operational analysts working with you to deliver the best user experience for all Novo Nordisk employees. The team is global with team members based in Denmark and India. The location of the position can either be out of Ballerup, Denmark, or Bangalore, India. All applicants willing to be based out of these two sites can apply. Your responsibilities in the position:
Drive and communicate the product vision and strategy for Power Platform applications such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, AI builder, and Power Platform Co-Pilot Studio (Not including Power BI). Build, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, priorities and build roadmap, and handle risks and dependencies to other teams in the organization (in cooperation with the Agile team, other Product Owners, and stakeholders). Facilitate and participate in Agile Release Train (ART) events, and collaborate with the team's participation in system demos, ensuring high motivation and collaboration within the team, and full involvement of IT architects in decision making. Continuously improve the product based on customer feedback and market trends, ensuring high end-user experience on the products and services based on high collaboration with stakeholders within own organization, other IT areas, and vendors. Manage and maintain the operational budget for the product portfolio within the product area. QualificationsTo be successful in this role, we believe that you should have:
Bachelors or masters degree within business administration, IT or similar and 10 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, project manager, IT manager, or IT architect. Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies (especially within Power platform), automation, low/no code technologies and platform or infrastructure operations. Strong background in product management and experience with agile methodologies, with the ability to understand the business needs and communicate these in an inspiring way to the agile delivery team and stakeholders. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and in a cross-cultural, global environment. Ability to translate strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities. Experience working in a regulated medical environment. Experience and understanding of service design and UX. Knowledge in ITIL process. Agile PO/PM certification. As a person, you have a strong passion for creating results and find it natural to take on responsibility for your area. Integrity and trustworthiness characterize your personality and the way you handle tasks and relations. Moreover, you should possess a high level of integrity and strong negotiation skills. About the departmentThe position is based in the Digital Workplace product area department, part of Global IT Operations (GITO) within DD&IT. Digital Workplace APAC department is a self-propelled unit based out of Bangalore, India, working in an agile setup with global product teams for various digitalization, communication, collaboration, and automation IT platforms. The growing team consists of experienced Digital Collaborations and platform Service Managers, IT Architects, Technical and Business Analysts who work together with our Danish and US team to cater to Digital workplace requirements for Novo Nordisk employees. As an area, we are responsible for Microsoft 365 Platforms, Power Platform, Novo Nordisk Meeting experience, collaboration technologies, Computing and Mobile platforms, and devices. Together we focus on how to build a great digital workplace while ensuring stable and secure operations.
