What You'll Do
We are seeking exceptional candidates with experience and passion to fill Senior Product Analyst Position in BCG’s new business unit, BCG X. This global business unit brings together cutting-edge AI, visionary business ventures, and unique software and products in the most strategic industry applications to deliver superior value and sustained impact. All of BCG’s core product capabilities are housed within the business unit including product management, design, development, support, and data analytics experts who work in deep collaboration with BCG practice areas, consulting teams, and clients. This team, of highly motivated and insightful colleagues, will provide an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment supported by a global management consulting firm, which is the world’s leading advisor on business strategy.
A BCG Product Management Lead is someone who will work with product manager and senior leadership in various business groups to help drive capabilities and support increased commercialization of BCG proprietary data and software assets. This person will work together with technical and commercial teams from the initial business case to roadmap delivery, launch, and ongoing support operations. We want someone with an entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated experience leading enterprise or large-scale product efforts across product strategy, marketing, finance, engineering, support, and executive stakeholders.
Additionally, you will work in a growing global team, providing industry & topic expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, methodologies, software solutions, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues This is an exciting opportunity to jump into a unique position at a world class firm.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Product Roadmap & Development
• Create and manage a dynamic roadmap (with Product Manager) that aligns development efforts with business goals and user needs.
• Act as a liaison between the development team and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Empower the team by removing impediments and optimize productivity and team morale.
Wireframe Creation & Information Architecture
• Develop wireframes that support information architecture design. Gather requirements and insights to ensure that the structure and flow of products align with user needs and business objectives.
• Apply design thinking methodologies to create solutions that are not only user-centric but also strategically aligned with business goals.
Research & Insight development
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to better understand customer behaviours, pain points, and needs.
• Develop ethnographic research and contextual design investigations to understand customer behaviors, pain points, needs, and aspirations.
User Persona, User Stories & User Experience Sensitivity
• Develop user stories that accurately reflect the needs, and goals of the target business users.
• Work closely with the UX/UI design team to ensure product features and interfaces meet the needs of the user personas and enhance the overall user experience.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback, using insights to drive design and functionality improvements.
Gather Business Requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of the project scope and objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Translate business needs into actionable product features and requirements for the development team.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to refine and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Collect and analyze feedback from clients and users, translating it into actionable insights for continuous product improvement.
• Develop and maintain product documentation, including feature lists, user guides, and release notes, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed.
• Organize and lead product demos and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, showcasing new features and capabilities.
Technical Proficiency and Collaboration
• Possess a solid understanding of the software development processes and technologies used by the development team.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and technical leads to understand technical challenges and opportunities.
• Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making, ensuring product decisions are technically feasible.
• Act as a bridge between the technical team and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on technical requirements and solutions.

What You'll Bring
• 7+ years of relevant experience; Business Analyst or product management experience for a subscription-based software (SaaS) product highly desired
• Consulting experience in Transformation topic is good to have; candidates with consulting experience preferred.
• In lieu of consulting experience, 5+ years of minimum industry experience required
• Excellent communication skills with experience working with Global teams
• Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast‐paced environment.
• Excellent problem‐solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.
• Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills – exhibiting attention to detail, follow through, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently or virtually, as well as, in a team environment.
• Enthusiasm for, and aptitude in rapidly developing skills in transformation-related fields like Transformation, restructuring, change management, and post-merger integration.
• Solid understanding of financial KPIs from P&L and Balance Sheets, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and financial modeling.
• Skills in data analysis tools like Tableau or Alteryx are advantageous, alongside the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international team environment.
• Willingness to learn new tools & methodologies as when they become relevant for the team.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing skills, and ability to adapt communication across diverse stakeholders, with a proactive approach in decision-making and issue escalation
