We work with the latest generation of broadband wireless technology. The RAN (Radio Access Network) Performance organization is responsible to systemize, design, implement and test software 5G features. The unit is responsible for the baseband SW within the 5G product.  
We are now creating a product responsible organization in Krakow, Poland, with one L2/Scheduler section focused on 5G.  
Currently we are looking for architects/product guardians who will help us to drive development of 5G UPC (User Plane Control) SW. You will be part of a world-class organization with some of the leading experts within the industry – you will join the baseband scheduler department and work with the 5G UPC product.

 

What you will do:

 

Supporting teams in development of new features for the 5G RAN Work with UPC SW architecture changes to prepare for the feature's roadmapReview design solutions prior to implementationParticipate and approve strategic/complex code reviewsDefine and maintain product development strategy and architecture integrityWork with improving quality of the scheduling softwareDrive domain module, submodule and function level test strategyMaintain and prioritize UPC domain care backlog Participate and support in system study Support longer term prototyping and architecture initiativesThrive when driving technology leadership 
 

The skills you bring:
 

Hands-on experience and knowledge of C/C++ programming At least 5 years' experience in development of real-time embedded systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesGeneral programming skills is an advantage, e.g. PythonKnowledge of 5G and LTE (4G) standards (3GPP) is an advantageClean code programming style and mindsetExperience in defining product architecture or complex implementation proposals is appreciatedMSc/Bsc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge Keen interest in the long-term evolution and success of the Baseband SW productFind it stimulating with teamwork and be part of a global organizationGood English language skills in both writing and conversation is required


We work in a hybrid model - 3 days from the office and 2 days from home weekly.
