About this opportunity:

As a Product Engineer II, you will provide product related technical support for the EFA 5G Smart Factory function to support volume production and NPI/TPI projects. You will also be driving continuous improvement in your area, ensuring all KPIs are achieved. Support technical training and direction to the team of technicians and repair personnel to ensure product knowledge and technical competence. In addition, you will serve as a key PoC for production, test engineering and all other teams for operational feedback and alignment amongst the team. You will be the prime technical interface on product implementation for Volume production.  You will support NPI and TPI projects as they transfer to volume production.

 

What you will do:

Identify operational improvement opportunities, establish, and modify processes as neededConduce root cause analysis of faults and work with Engineering to improve reliability and performanceSupport all product troubleshoot and repair efficiencies and key performance indicators (KPIs)Manage production performance as collecting data, analyzing, checking, modifying, implementing and updating production processes utilizing methods and toolsPropose product improvements to design in NPI/TPI projects as well as volume productionDevelop product requirements and design rules from a supply perspectiveGenerate and conduct flow optimizationsSecure business continuity plans and sustainabilityTPI technical interface and resident expert on volume productionLead Electronic Engineer and Troubleshoot Technicians in product introduction for troubleshoot and repair supportReview and own product troubleshoot guidesMeet yearly individual goals and KPI’sLead all aspects of troubleshooting product to reduce backlog, FRAG support and quality supportThe skills you bring: Bachelors or Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Telecommunication Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and 5+ years of experience in developing and improving Radio Frequency (RF) components for network telecommunications solutions OR Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Telecommunication Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in developing and improving Radio Frequency (RF) components for network telecommunications solutions.Operation of RF measurement instruments including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, digital multi-meters (DMM) and oscilloscopes to make manual RF measurements; electrical schematics and PCBA layout drawings for 4G/5G radio base station products and components; radio transceiver, power amplifier, and filter operation in wireless communication products and systems; and 4G/5G radio base station architectures. Requires 25% domestic and international travel.Extensive knowledge troubleshooting to component level and related processesAbility to provide high level troubleshooting and root cause analysis working with equipment documentation and computer programsAbility to read drawings and schematicsStrong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivator, committed to providing high-quality workAbility to work extended or flexible hours when requiredMust be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesPossess strong interpersonal skills and attention to detailKnowledge with SW tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word
