As **Product Application Expert Cheese Coatings,** you will contribute to developing new coatings and coating-applications, support sales and marketing efforts, create technical content, deliver presentations and trainings, and identifying market needs for solution implementation. The position is based in the Business Unit Taste Texture & Health (Cheese organization). Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated. **Your Key Responsibilities** + To manage, build and share the know-how in Dairy Application (more specifically in the field of cheese coatings) and to act as the technical expert in this field towards the internal (R&D / Sales / Business) and external world (Customers/Partners). + Build up and maintain application and industry knowhow and use this knowledge to generate new profitable business. + To identify needs and opportunities in the market together with the business and deliver and implement solutions. + Develops new products based on existing technologies and improve existing products/ applications together with operations. + Together with the Technical Service Manager /Account Manager support customers in NPD (new product development), producing new applications and resolve technical problems. + Support the QA and the technical sales team with customer questions. + Develop lab scale processes and recipes to demonstrate the existing dsm-firmenich solutions as well as to challenge new ideas and ingredients, including the set up and validation of relevant analysis. + Provide technical content for our value propositions & sales presentations and documentations. Experience within cheese making, cultures and enzymes are preferred. + Exceptional communication abilities, serving as a central liaison among globally based peers and stake holders: you collaborate and co-create both with internal business colleagues as well as with customers, aiming to bring an optimal solution to the customer. + Practical project management experience, and a coaching role towards colleagues in your team and in projects. A positive contribution to the team spirit and entrepreneurial mindset. + Fluent English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
