Process Lead - Wet Mill

Join our innovative team as a Process Lead, where you'll drive efficiency and sustainability in our cutting-edge projects, shaping the future of manufacturing with your expertise.

As a Process Lead, you will act as a prime technical resource and is responsible for the development and implementation of production planning, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operating performance in the areas of production, safety, quality, and reliability. In addition, incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and providing direction in the work activities.

What you will do:

- Provide technical support and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, including conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate and monitor daily maintenance, production activities, and plant productivity to meet ISO and GMP requirements, while supporting cost control and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Lead, manage, and create a collaborative environment for production teams, ensuring accountability and adherence to plant rules and job requirements.
- Oversee workforce compliance with plant procedures and guidelines, while participating in customer visits, audits, and improvement teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments and support Plant Loss Accounting (OEE) systems, while offering innovative ideas to enhance operations.
- Coordinate and support employee training programs, ensuring skill development and readiness for change among operations personnel.

What you will bring:

B.Sc. degree in a process related engineering discipline (Chemical or Mechanical) or equivalent in experience and education.

3-5 years’ experience as an Engineer (or equivalent in experience and education) involved with process troubleshooting, project development and implementation. Must have experience involving process automation, preferably with formal training or basic knowledge of computer/PLC operations.

Sound overall knowledge of:

Corn Wet Milling and Refining manufacturing and equipment (other food processing experience considered).

Company and/or generally accepted design and construction standards.

Company and regulatory rules, policies, procedures in the areas of GMP, Quality, Environmental Management and Health & Safety.

Pay Range:

$81,680.00-$108,906.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
