Title and Summary
Principal Software EngineerAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our team and drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern full-stack technologies, with strong backend development in Java/J2EE, Spring and frontend expertise in frameworks like Angular and React . This role also requires experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1.\tDesign and Development:
o\tLead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure full-stack applications using Java/J2EE, Spring , JPA, and modern frontend frameworks like Angular and React.
o\tDevelop and maintain high-quality code following industry best practices and coding standards.
o\tManage and optimize interactions with RDBMS.
2.\tCloud and Infrastructure:
o\tDesign and deploy cloud-native applications on leading platforms
o\tEnsure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.
3.\tCollaboration:
o\tWork closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and UX/UI designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
o\tMentor junior engineers and contribute to building a high-performing engineering culture.
4.\tCI/CD and DevOps:
o\tImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
o\tDrive the adoption of DevOps best practices to improve development efficiency.
5.\tAgile Methodologies:
o\tActively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
o\tAdapt and contribute to iterative delivery cycles to ensure rapid and quality-focused releases.
6.\tPerformance Engineering (Good to Have):
o\tUtilize performance testing and monitoring tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
o\tCollaborate on capacity planning and system optimization efforts.
Skills:
•\tBackend Technologies: Strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring , JPA, and RDBMS.
•\tFrontend Technologies: Proficiency with Angular and React.
•\tCloud: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
•\tCI/CD: Expertise with tools like Jenkins and related DevOps practices.
•\tAgile Methodology: Solid understanding of agile software development practices.
•\tExpertise in performance engineering, including the use of related tools like JMeter, Dynatrace.
Qualifications:
•\tBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•\t10+ years of hands-on experience in software development with significant exposure to full-stack technologies.
•\tStrong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
•\tExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.
