What you will do

Become our customers’ trusted technical advisor and develop a deep knowledge of their systems and needs. You’ll support the operation of database on premise and in cloud, delivering services that drive customer success and innovation.

Improve the stability, availability, and performance of critical production databases Provide operational support and engage in escalations for essential business systems. Deliver assistance with software installation, configuration, health assessments, and performance reviews Analyze new and complex issues, performing thorough root cause investigations Review config and performance of DB DBA lifecyle Support (Patching, Backup, DR configs , Upgrades, migrations) and Infra DomU patching during off hours Offer problem-solving expertise while considering customer constraints and risk management Deliver architecture advisory services, including reviews and conceptual support.  Conduct research and promptly address technical inquiries, ensuring effective communication at various organizational levels Educate customers on product features, best practices, upgrades and patches Work with OCI Development and Product Management for adoption of new OCI features and services
