Principal Functional Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary entry point for all new requests related to the SwO system.Ensure that the end-to-end solution design matches the requirements and is feasible for implementation.Collaborate with stakeholders, including product definition and development teams, to capture and analyze solution elements for large cross-functional projects.Respond to customer RFPs and coordinate the solution design with internal and external stakeholders.Identify areas of repeat/common use and optimize the work of the department by documenting coherent, reusable solution responses. Propose evolution of products suited to the needs of market/customer.Provide regular and relevant information status updates to stakeholders at any stage of the engagement.Document and present solution recommendations to all stakeholders during solution review forums, with the ability to explain complex technical information in simple ways to a diverse audience.Understand technical design and high level system architecture and is able to explain complex concepts in a simple manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in solution design and implementation in the airline industry.Strong understanding of settlement processes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role (Principal Solution Definition Analyst, PDA, senior PDA…)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with New Distribution Capability (NDC) and other airline industry standards.Familiarity with agile methodologies ( preferably SAFe) and project management tools.
