Principal Datacentre Fitout Programme Manager

OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is currently in need of a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our fast-growing team to build relationships across the EMEA Region with our Co-location (CoLo) Partners. Technical Program Managers (TPM’s) rely on their mastery of data and business to understand and anticipate business requirements, initiate programs, track progress, and manage any issues that arise during and after the program completion. As an ideal candidate you possess sufficient technical expertise to communicate business requirements in technical vernacular to engineers and help resolve business blockers.

Additionally, TPMs track technical issues, effectively communicate project status, recommend changes, decide tradeoffs for competing priorities, demonstrate “act now and iterate” and deep understanding on the Cloud physical infrastructure (including Datacenter, networking and circuits). They define strategies, regularly participate in executive meetings to present their progress, and share project information with stakeholders. A successful candidate will be well versed in what it takes to drive business growth through data for a cloud organization.

Features the role will be assigned to
•    To lead and deliver large and medium complexity GPU programs & projects  that leak outside of their VP's scope of influence.
•    Driving strategic Colo partnerships within the EMEA region, ensuring the successful execution of high impact collaborations that align with Oracles long term vision.
•    Represents the Team up to the VP level independently and at a higher level. Briefs senior leaders inside and outside the Org on Program process.
•    Expected to drive continuous improvement of project processes and associated templates, reporting methodologies etc.
•    Provides mentoring/guidance to Junior Program Managers  on project/program activities.
•    6+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
•    Experience with varying scenarios of data center design and construction, infrastructure builds and network augmentations.
•    Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center, hardware, mechanical and electrical systems)
•    Program/project management certifications or qualifications with proven ability to deliver complex programs.
•    Proven ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and across global teams.
•    Ability to inspire confidence in senior leaders and motivate team members.
•    Excellent communication skills including high quality written communications and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple way.
•    Experience in the Low Voltage Industry or related field
