What you'll do:
Lead and coach a team of Presales Architect Advisors who are senior Presales resources. This team are the bridge between client requirements and SAP solutions.
You will work closely with the SAP Sales Leadership team on developing strategy for addressing your customer needs, and be across all of the sales engagements for your team.
You will manage all aspects of people development within your team and support them to bring out their best.
You are part of the customer advisory leadership team for Australia and New Zealand, working towards ensuring the team reaches our revenue goals.
Engagement Coaching:
Guide and challenge your team on effective sales approaches and engagements. Focus on opportunity progression and support your team in the creation of their deliverables – for example: Architecture documents, Solution Visioning and Demonstrations, Business Case, BOMs and Roadmaps. Review and support preparation for solution demonstrations to clients, providing outside-in feedback and recommendations. Create and run structured sales processes (Battleplans, clinics) as required to ensure SAP delivers the best to its client engagements.
Inclusive People leadership
You are responsible for an experienced team who have deep solution-specific expertise and competitive differentiation knowledge. They look to you for strategy, leadership and different thinking
You will lead and guide your team to not only bring out their best today, but also to ensure that they are ready for shifts and changes in the marketplace.
In doing so, you will cover all aspects of team leadership including day-to-day management and account qualification through to development planning, feedback and high performance coaching.
Support Future Demand
Support creation of new demand via whitespace analysis, blue sky thinking. Connect with ANZ, Regional and Global peers to understand best practices and customer engagements from different locations. Bring best practice and knowledge from different engagements to your team members looking to help create new thinking. Represent SAP at relevant events, sales campaigns and customer engagements.
Key Skills & Success Profile
Proven transformational leadership with the ability to manage organisational change. Strong ability to lead diverse, multicultural teams across locations —both virtually and in person. Challenger mindset with a track record of driving business innovation and value-based selling. Effective conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities. Business outcome focus, with a results-driven approach to revenue growth and customer success. Solid knowledge of SAP solutions, with expertise in at least one application area, enabling thought leadership in Business Data Cloud and AI engagements.
