Premium Representative

Role Summary:
In the Premium Representative role, you will be responsible for providing world class customer service to our clients. You will interact regularly with internal and external customers and partners (brokers, third party vendors) as it relates to client invoicing, account reconciliation and collections. This role requires analyzing client data to reconcile and resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities/Core functions:
Manage assigned portfolio of complex client accountsPerform tasks related to collections processes and proceduresPerform tasks related to review of client AR for preparation of necessary adjustments/disbursements to submit to processing teamResearch/respond to billing or payment inquiries within established turnaround times. Escalate issues as needed.Work with third party administrators, brokers and/or clients directly to reconcile accounts receivableFacilitate conference calls or meetings with internal and external partiesExtensive research related to member eligibility and rate variancesPrepare necessary adjustments to resolve member level discrepancies identified in reconciliation processBuild effective relationships with internal and external partnersHandle special billing or report requestsAnalyze client data utilizing various reports and resourcesPrepare and distribute Schedule A & C tax formsCoordinate various activities to ensure compliance with tax regulationsCompetencies:

Previous work experience in a fast-paced business environmentAccounts Receivable experience a plusHigh School degree required; bachelor’s degree preferredHigh level of initiative and leadership skillsAbility to handle complex, difficult or escalated issues highly preferredExcellent organizational aptitude and high attention to detailDemonstrates responsiveness and a sense of urgency when dealing with internal and external clients highly preferredTeam player with effective verbal and written communication skills highly preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills highly preferredAbility to multitask and prioritize workloadMicrosoft Office with intermediate Excel and Access knowledge (V-Look up proficiency, pivot tables and formulas) highly preferredAbout The Cigna Group
