About this opportunity:

Ericsson is a leading innovator in the telecommunications industry, committed to providing cutting-edge solutions that optimize power systems for reliable and efficient performance. We are seeking a talented and experienced Power Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced power architectures for telecom applications.

What you will do:

Design and develop power architectures for telecom systems, including AC/DC converters, battery management systems, and black box solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define power system requirements and specifications.Select and qualify modules, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, and test plans.Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and functionality of power systems.Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve system designs.Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

The skills you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 4 years of experience in power design, specifically within telecom applications.Strong expertise in AC/DC power conversion, battery technologies, and black box systems.Solid understanding of power electronics principles, including thermal management and electromagnetic compatibility.Experience with industry standards and regulatory requirements for telecom power systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, fluent in English, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with renewable energy integration in telecom power systems.Project management skills and experience leading design projects.
