What You'll Do
As a Regional Practice Area Manager within BCG’s People and Organization Practice Area (PA), you partner with the Regional POP RPAL and regional leadership team to support setting the regional POP strategic agenda and implementing operational initiatives to grow the Practice Area and make POP the PA of choice for people at BCG. Key activities include:
Work with the POP RPAL & Regional LT to set the regional POP PA priorities and strategyManage the commercial plan to understand and monitor the state of the business (e.g. lead flow, proposal pipeline and sold cases), reaching out to relevant Client Officers/Offer Lead, Sector Lead, Leadership Team Managing Directors; qualitative & quantitative commercial analysis and planning to enable this workDrive the creation and facilitation of the regional people plan, including recruiting, staffing, career development and pipeline topics, as well as people initiatives to support the success of the team in the regionLead regional internal engagement, communication and affiliation activitiesProvide inputs to the Practice's Marketing Partner and Marketing Manager to plan publications, newsletters, internal and external events for the PA; develop a SATT strategy for the PA and plan activitiesDrive innovation within the region – including identifying and driving change where there are opportunities to re-imagine the way we work
The POP Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices. We develop and provide expertise on People and Organization matters and together with the industry PAs of BCG, support client to design, equip and sustain a high performing organization with capable, engaged and adaptive people.

You will work closely with the Global and Regional (NAMR) People and Organization Practice leadership and their leadership teams, when setting the strategic agenda and driving implementation. In addition, having a strong relationship with the Regional FPA and Client teams will be important to be effective in the role. You will also collaborate with the Practice Area Coordinators, Sector / Topic Managers, HR and Marketing within the PA. Further interfaces exist with other Regional Managers as well as global and regional BCG functions and teams as needed.
