Platform Engineer DevOps** All CVs must be submitted in English** About the business area/department:We are part of Airport IT, supporting multiple airports across the world. We have different products used at airports, such as flight information systems and airport operations systems. Airports' IT covers multiple applications to manage flights, fixed and mobile resources, public/private/mobile displays of information, and multiple other software solutions to optimize their critical activity. You will discover the hidden face of an airport, the huge complexity of handling ground operations when thousands of people are synchronized through complex processes, the challenges for the IT teams, and the key improvements we design and deliver to them.
The Development and Platform Enablement team oversees:
Implementing and maintaining applications hosted on AWS, Azure cloud.System administration activities on Windows and Linux machines.Automation of operational and releasing activities using scripting.Production support for cloud-hosted applications.Summary of the role:We are looking for a platform engineer devops who will be doing the maintenance and production support of applications hosted on cloud. The role involves investigating, troubleshooting, and solving technical issues encountered on platforms, supporting releasing activities for different cloud applications, coordinating with different teams, and performing POC in new/upcoming technologies.
In this role you’ll:Handle platform incident requests.Perform health checks of various systems.Perform releasing of software components.Automate different manual tasks.Suggest improvements in existing operational processes.Work on maintenance and upgrading of different technologies used in the ecosystem.About the ideal candidate:
Degree in engineering or equivalent work experienceGood English skills3+ years of experience using Linux, OpenShift, Helm, scripting (Shell or Python).Understanding of certificate management, JBoss, Apache, Grafana, databases (Oracle), Java, Jenkins.Basic understanding of networking, load balancer, firewall routers, HaProxy, Qlik, Windows admin.Experience in vulnerability remediation.Awareness of security tools like CrowdStrike Qualys.Ready to travel (<5% per year).What we can offer you:Get rewarded with competitive remuneration, individual and company annual bonus, vacation and holiday paid time off, health insurances and other competitive benefits.
