Innovating beyond the confines of physical devices to a future where cloud technology connects and enhances the human experience is the core foundation of our Ericsson Cloud Software & Services (BCSS) team. Core network engineering, which is an integral part of BCSS, is expanding in our Krakow R&D unit to further contribute to the evolution of 5G core network products. To support and enable service providers with their transition from to cloud native software and automated operations, we are looking for a Developer to join our Portal development team. This is a Developer role for Packet Core Portal development.  


What you will do:

Developing tools for Packet Core development flow Maintain and usage of large database storing development flow information Continuous Integration with improvement, and maintenanceMonitoring and supporting the operation of tools during the development flowThe setup, maintenance and user education for our tools Focusing on automation of our workflows to become more efficient and get an easy-to-use environment


The skills you bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience Familiarity with Web developing technology, Drupal platform knowledge and experience is preferred Good scripting experience in PHP, Python and shell scripts Internet protocol and security knowledge (SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, Certificates) Database schema design and usage, MySQL experience is preferred Good experience in Linux/Unix systems, as well as the compiling and build system Knowledge and development experience of API based system Knowledge of Continuous Integration system (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Mason2, Ansible) structure and usage Good knowledge of version control systems, such as Git/Gerrit/Gitlab, Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management system, like requirement management, TR/CR management system etc. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. 


Nice to have:

•    Knowledge of the development programming languages, Java, Node.js, C++, XML 
•    Knowledge of Free Open-Source Software, its principles, and licenses 
•    Familiar with IS/IT. Knowledge in how to configure, install, maintain, and update the hardware, operation systems, software, and network interfaces to be able to coordinate activities with Ericsson’s IS/IT organization 
 
This role requires hybrid work from the office in Kraków/Łódź (3 days per week).
