The PETNET Government Contract Development Manager will be responsible for managing Government contracts from RFP to invoicing; the ideal candidate must be proficient in preparing, submitting, negotiating, and managing federal government contracts as well as meeting personally with business partners and agency representatives. The role also requires the identification, development and implementation of strategic and sales-support marketing initiatives. This position will serve as a liaison between the Sr. Director of Strategic Sales, Sr. Director of PETNET Sales and the field sales organization and the Siemens Molecular Imaging division-at-large

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Actively search for government sales opportunities using SAM.gov, as well as other federal sources.Review opportunities to identify company capability, potential risks, and compliance requirements.Prepare proposals with government agencies, including terms and conditions, deliverables, pricing, and compliance.Make recommendations to Sr. Director of Strategic Sales during negotiations of contract, modifications, amendments and extensions.Administrate contracts, including providing the necessary forms to Finance, monitoring of existing contracts, measuring performance, and addressing any issues and discrepancies.Comply with reporting requirements and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.Responsible for progress reports, status meetings, and other communications with clients and company leadership.Serve as a primary point of contact for government agencies.Identify, manage, and escalate issues that may arise during opportunity management.Responsible for progress reports, status meetings, and other communications with clients and company leadership.Serve as a primary point of contact for government agencies.Organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced unpredictable environment.

Knowledge Base:

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of PETNET business practices, intellectual properties, strategic concepts, techniques, and processes.Leads the collection, maintenance, and distribution to the PETNET Sales organization of current development in Government contracting, policy changes and product positioning.Assesses the Government market conditions, customer expectations, satisfaction levels, company image and strategic effectiveness.Applies principles, theories, and concepts to a wide range of strategic opportunities as directed by the Sr. Director of Strategic Sales

Relationship Management Responsibilities:

Ensures PETNET Sales Management Team is kept informed of developments, business trends and opportunities in the government customer space by providing summary report quarterly to the SLT.Works closely with all levels of the Sales Team to standardize and optimize Government customer related marketing programs and initiatives for volume growth and contracts.Guides interaction between PETNET regulatory, legal, operations and sales teams to troubleshoot, resolve and preempt potential problems that are customer contract relatedWorks closely with Sr. Director of Sales, Sr. Director of Strategic Sales and PETNET contracts team to define, support and deliver marketing related programs to grow sales volumes and contracts.Guides interaction between PETNET and CMO partners to leverage measurable joint sales opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s DegreePrior molecular imaging clinical experience3 to 5 years marketing experience with demonstrated competencePETNET experience preferredTechnical certification preferred

110k base salary and $60k variable if sales target met

The base pay range for this position is

Min $93,600 - Max $140,400

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
