Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
VCA Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.
We are looking for an experienced Payments Programme Lead to lead, manage and support the successful execution of cards, payment, fraud prevention and/or migration programs within Visa clients in the Nordics. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the transition from as-is to target solution, utilizing strong and extensive experience from previous system / platform transition projects to execute and navigate in a complex organisation and multifaceted program structure. Bringing experience and knowledge from major transitions, preferably within the payments / cards area, the role will provide industry best practice in preparations and execution of transition deliverables. This role will be embedded into the Client team, working with Client programme management teams, whilst reporting into the VMS Nordics & Baltics (N&B) Cluster Lead.
The key deliverables / responsibilities for the role include:
Plan and execute change and drive transition activities from current state to target solution.Lead and manage allocated resources (Visa, client, third party) and provide high-level visibility and progress reporting for the program.Actively engage and manage key stakeholders.Drive assigned transition tasks professionally, timely, and with high quality.Ensure collaboration and integration within change initiatives.Understand clients' business objectives, needs, and plans.Identify opportunities to grow and improve ways of working.Provide thought leadership and projects regarding payment fraud and the future of payment and retail banking as needed.Coordinate with Visa Hub teams to provide support, additional information, and best practices.This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
Strong consulting background, with the ability to develop and build strong, trusted client relationships and influence the design and outcomes of client engagements.
Good communicator, with the ability to summarise clearly and succinctly what is going on, and convert this into engaging presentations that tell a story
Extensive experience with delivery methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
Senior-level experience in the implementation projects for retail banking/payment card industry.
Strong understanding of card/payments products.
Strong understanding of the card fraud prevention.
Experience in transformation and business readiness.
Ability to manage and support project team members (Visa and client).
Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills, including at senior executive levels.
SAFe Agile and/or Agile PM certifications preferred but not essential.
Excellent analytical skills.
Fluent in English and Swedish (verbal and written).
High integrity and business ethics.
