What you will do:
Apply Human Centered Design principles and techniques in the process of prototyping solution demos, POC’s and products for strategic applications and technology. Demonstrate the ability to quickly understand the core business needs, make the right compromises and prioritize content and data, based on user needs and the inherit limitations on various devices from a real estate perspective. Have a holistic approach to the information architecture and data hierarchy. Make interactions with digital products seamless to users, by having a good understanding of human cognitive constraints in HCI (Human Computer Interaction). Be at the forefront of a new Design culture and team whose mission is to make the Design Thinking approach pervasive throughout the whole organization Help the Design and Demo departments enrich their repository of reusable assets and expertise across various industries. We are also constructing a design system. Present your design solutions to senior members of the team, various internal stakeholders from Product Development and external customers whilst articulating key decisions and highlighting the various user flows – putting the value proposition first – how it solves the business problems and what is the Experience your solution creates.
Experience/Skills required:
4+ years of User Experience Design with an emphasis on prototyping solutions for enterprise and consumer applications, cognitive/conversation design, emerging technologies.(ML/AR/VR/Blockchain) Proficiency in English (spoken and written) Ability to understand, analyze and prioritize input data from briefing meetings by actively listening, analyzing requirements and asking the right questions The candidate needs to show initiative, confidence and have great communication skills Building storyboards and user interaction journeys Excellent Visual Design abilities. Define user personas, scenarios and use cases Ability to use initiative and work from often loose and incomplete briefs. Deep understanding of design trends and best practices. Also open to innovate, create new “best practices” Experience and understanding of the Agile/Scrum process – not mandatory. Research and communicate latest trends within industry Build and articulate Conceptual Designs. Demonstrate cultural intelligence – sensible to how different cultures and groups of people interact with imagery, colors, etc. Art direction Strong conceptual and visual communication abilities Understand Atomic Design principles and what makes a good Design System
Technical Skills:
Good understanding of the relevant design software: Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Invision Studio, Sketch. (Figma is mandatory) Experience of Interactive prototyping tools like Figma Design for Mobile Devices Responsive Design Techniques. Be a full-stack UX Designer (Information Architecture, Interaction Model, User Interface Design) Knowledgeable of technical constraints and possibilities from a Front End Development perspective. (eg: what is possible, what is hard to do, what are the different frameworks used) Experience in shipping products. Working closely with Product Management and/or development teams to discuss constraints, plan design iterations to work towards buildable versions
