Job Title: Operations Expert

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an Operations Expert at our Newtown Square, PA location to lead complex and cross-departmental/cross-unit projects.
Expectations and Tasks:
Provides leadership and team development, coaching, and facilitation; ensures the alignment of team priorities with broader best-run projects and programs in alignment with unit/SAP-strategy and initiatives. May be the in-house expert on business topics or specific technologies. Works on business issues or advanced complex technical projects requiring state of the art technical, industry or business knowledge and concepts. Directs the design, planning, and implementation of (business) development/change programs, policies, processes, standards and procedures or technologies. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Provide neutral & holistic view on organization/unit/area. Link unit/area specific goals and execution plans with the rest of the organization and overall company goals. Establish (co-) operational model within business unit in close alignment with internal and external stakeholders. Drive cross-unit initiatives in cooperation with other stakeholders. Act as trusted advisor in community, actively applying expert knowledge. Develops concepts and processes for continuous improvements of operational procedure, tools, processes, and content. Conducts assessments and reviews to actively contribute to improvement on process performance. Act as trusted advisor in community, actively applying PM expert knowledge. Inbound and outbound communication on senior management level. Supports senior management in monitoring and evaluation of KPIs. Guides tasks and processes of other team members. Acts as role model for team members from Associate to Expert level: gives feedback on skill development and training. Takes Team Lead Role from time to time.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:
Cross-functional expertise with End to End Process knowledge;
Transactional Expert Support specialized in consumption/private cloud-based business models and systems;
Order to Invoice Process design and documentation; and
Drive simplification & standardization.
Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:
Finance & Administration processes, including expertise in Revenue Recognition (IFRS15 rules), Private Cloud delivery/fulfillment, Pricing rules, Cash Collections, Reporting, and Controlling;
Collaborative design of automated systems for diverse environments, adept at managing processes through ERP systems with custom enhancements based on a consumption model, and skilled in project management using agile methodology; and
Go-to expert in configuring internal program tools and archetypes for both ad-hoc initiatives and on-demand projects that need to connect the dots between company demands and commercial infrastructure.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $141,525 - $240,380. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $166,500 - $282,800. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
