Be a part of the future growth and development of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We are combining the elasticity and utility of cloud services with the granular control, security, and predictability of on-premises infrastructure to deliver high-performance, high availability, and cost-effective infrastructure services.
As we are building and growing, we are seeking a high-energy intern to assist and support the Data Center Sourcing team, that is responsible for leasing and acquiring data center space, and assessing related infrastructure.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Project management Develop and document process and workflows Interface with internal customers to develop growth profile and business cases Logistical support for the Data Center Sourcing team Enter and analyze data in spreadsheets Assist with lease renewals and amendments Collaborate with multiple teams across Oracle including, engineering, finance, procurement, and operations teamsBasic Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen U.S. Veteran transitioning from active service Bachelor’s degree or related experience in business or IT Experience working in IT industry Strong written and communications skills Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Strong collaborator, working closely with multiple teams and subject matter experts Successful track record in completing multiple projects Data analytics experience Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheets and other analytic tools and solutions Attention to detail is criticalPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira) Knowledge of commercial real estate or real estate development Knowledge of the data center industry Experience working in a data center Knowledge of data center technologies and design Understanding of data center cabling design and standards
