NOSC Infrastructure NMT Engineer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI is seeking a Network Monitoring Tools (NMT) Engineer responsible for providing support for the overall design, implementation, testing and maintenance of the Network Monitoring Tools. The NMT Engineer is accountable for network fault management, performance and configuration management including alerting, reporting functions for the entire DHS HSEN network infrastructure. In this role you will assist with user accounts, provide reports, and assist with various projects as defined by the program. You will work closely with Tier 1, Program Support, Government Watch Officer, and Tier 3 Operations Teams. The work location for this position is the Nebraska Ave Complex (NAC) in Washington, DC, _with telework authorized_ . The candidate must live in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area and be able to commute to the NAC for work if required. **Responsibilities:** + Become a subject-matter expert (SME) for a wide subset of tools and application including processing orders in ServiceNow using (CMDB, CI) ScienceLogic, CyberArk, TACACS, RestorePoint, VOSS, Verisign, Akamai, Cloudflare, Infoblox, NIOS, NIMS, CISCO routers, and Net Scout. + Provide expert setup, configuration, support, troubleshooting, usage guidance, and training to our engineering staff for supported tools and infrastructure. + Collaborate with team members from all parts of the development lifecycle, from development to operations to security, solving technical challenges, and providing and receiving guidance and mentorship. + Enhance existing and implement new tools to integrate with continuous delivery of systems and reporting. + Work closely with management and technical teams on understanding the overall direction/scope of various projects and translate those into effective processes and artifacts. + Familiarity with various circuit types and requirements for installations. + Strong understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, DMVPN tunneling, VLAN trunking. + Provide effective solutions to complex Network Management engineering problems. + Experience in DNS, Cisco IOS, ScienceLogic, RestorePoint, VOSS, Spectrum, and Network Administration + Understanding of SDLC methodologies and practices. + Ability to multi-task with numerous actives running concurrently + Experience as a Network Monitoring Tools Engineer. + SME Experience with any of following RestorePoint, ScienceLogic, VOSS, CyberArk, INFOBLOX (IP addressing and DNS), CISCO ISE (TACACS, SNMP), NetScout. + Familiarity/Knowledge with NMT tools like Solarwinds/Axonius/Dynatrace/Splunk/Spectrum/HPNA/CAPM + ServiceNow Design/Flow and Methodology (CMDB management) **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. + Experience with development, maintenance, and on-going actions related to continuous integration, automation and development of network tools. + Experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) Environment. + Experience in DNS, Cisco IOS, Spectrum, ScienceLogic, Infoblox, Cloudflare, Akamai, HPNA, VPN, and Network Administration + US citizenship is required along with the ability to secure and retain a DHS Compartmental security clearance. _Desired:_ + Network+, ITIL Foundations, CCNA, Network+, CCENT, Security+, and/or Azure Fundamentals Certifications + Experience with DHS HSEN (Homeland Security Enterprise Network). + Project Management Certified (CompTIA PM+, CAPM, PMP, etc..). + Excellent interpersonal skills and able to relate effectively with program employees, government/client representatives, and internal organizational functional representatives. + A collaborative, team-centric attitude and enthusiasm that encourages outreach and partnership. + Ability to manage multiple projects and requirements simultaneously in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice and under high pressure in high visibility situations. - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
