The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Availability Quality Lead to ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, monitoring network performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Manages and mentors the network availability QA teamIdentifies and tracks program risks and action items to closure, and assess risk and cost of changesEstablishes and maintains a close working relationship with other areas, service providers, customers, and technical staff Delivers briefings and training as required to leadership, individuals or teams across the program to ensure common understanding to meet objectivesEnsures senior management are always informed of appropriate activities and issues (early and frequently) Ensures compliance with process-specific standards and policies, and stays abreast of process changesUtilize ServiceNow dashboards, tools, and techniques to report the status of the process as neededSupport measurement and reporting for weekly and monthly meetings and as requiredIdentify areas for improvement in practices and recommend solutionsManages end-to-end projects that follow procedures, work instructions, and templates to support process executionDevelops and maintains relevant and appropriate project management documentation and artifacts (i.e. project schedules, briefings, reports, etc.)Leads efforts ensuring high performance and quality are consistentDevelop and maintain customer required and identify and recommend changes or additions to quality metrics and KPIsEstablish goals and objectives for the team(s), running day-to-day operations for the assigned projectsRaises issues, questions and concerns; Validates results, reports discrepancies, and follows through to ensure that all issues are resolved Monitor and analyze network performance data to identify trends and potential issuesCollaborate with network operations, engineering, and support teams to implement improvementsDevelop and implement quality assurance strategies and processes for capacity management initiativesCreate and present regular reports on network availability and quality metrics to stakeholders Lead quality audits of capacity management processes, documentation, and outcomesIdentify and implement best practices for network availability and resilience Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout project lifecyclesEnsure impact of changes to availability on other services and Configuration Items (CIs) are effectively assessedLead a team of Availability Management Process Analysts in day-to-day work

Qualifications:

TS/SCI with poly requiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience 10+ years of related work experience  Good working knowledge of the Service Management workflows and ITSM processes ITIL V3 or 4 certification and training Experience with Network Capacity Management processes and practicesStrong understanding of network technologies and capacity management principlesProficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and best practicesExperience with automation testing tools and scripting languagesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, MPLS, SDN)Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools

Desired:

Experience in a leadership or mentoring roleAdvanced ITIL certifications or training

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
