Oracle AHF preserves the availability of your database system during both software (DB, GI, OS) and hardware (CPU, network, memory, storage) issues by:
Providing early warnings for potential availability issues Identifying underlying cause and recommended actions for quick resolution Gathering relevant and complete diagnostics for efficient triage by Oracle Support ServicesAvailability issues include those due to memory stress, runaway queries, hangs, DoS attacks, rogue workloads, software bugs, software configuration and file permission changes.
Oracle AHF maintains performance during both software issues (bugs, configuration, contention, etc.) and client issues (demand, queries, connection management, etc.) by providing early warnings for potential performance degradation issues, detecting hung sessions and automatically resolving them and Identifying bottlenecked resources (storage, global cache, CPU or SQL).

We are looking for software developers with proficiency the following:
Programming Languages: Python | Java | PL-SQL | ORACLE JET Machine Learning and Big Data Generative AI Strong Computer Science concepts and data structures. Good Algorithm skills. Self-taught mentality and ability to collaborate in a multi-cultural team.Autonomous Health Framework Insights:
Autonomous Health Framework Insights is a central console which provides a bird's eye view of the entire system from diagnostic perspective. It showcases data from AHF and co-relates various dimensions of diagnostics to provide root cause analysis of issue at hand using various machine learning as well as statistical techniques. The goal of the project is to provide a platform to run automated analysis on huge amounts of data, quickly pinpoint failures, easily navigate to required information, and aggregate and co-relate information across the stack to provide a cluster wide as well as fleet wide view for Autonomous DB deployment. It also leverages various NLP / NLU as well as Generative AI techniques too streamline semantic understanding of data and thus the overall user experience.
Job Description:
The responsibilities include, design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging, or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. As a member of this team, you will implement machine learning-based solutions and algorithms to categorize different defects of Oracle software running in a distributed/parallel environment. - Own the development of machine learning algorithms
- Improve the accuracy of existing algorithms to an acceptable level
- Broaden existing algorithms to work well with various Oracle products
- Improve the run-time of existing algorithms
- Develop and maintain necessary infrastructure to run and maintain the algorithms
- Develop a feedback system to improve the selection of features for the algorithms
Desired Skills:
- BS/MS/PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, applied math or related field
- Proficiency with algorithms and data structures
- Proficiency with distributed systems
- Proficiency with coding in Python and Web Frameworks
- Proficiency with basic database schema management and operation
- Familiarity with code development in PL/SQL, C, C++, Java, Perl (at least 1)
- 3+ years of work experience in software development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to be a team player
- Strong analytical skills and an independent thinker
Preferred:
- Familiarity with NLP, Neural Networks, building chatbots
- Familiarity with Oracle database internals
- Familiarity with Oracle database diagnostic data (incidents, alert, traces, etc.)
