CACI is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert Mission Systems Services Lead to support USSTRATCOM’s command and control capabilities by leading the planning, execution and delivery of complex strategic mission systems. This role requires a blend of expertise, project management skills and leadership capabilities to ensure that mission-critical projects are completed on time, within scope and on budget. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Provides overall management guidance and support of the mission system services, including lifecycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment of required systems and ensured connectivity
Familiar with the implementation of complex engineering solutions for critical systems and capabilities, engineering and implementation of C4 systems, operations and maintenance of systems and subsystems
Manages a specific project or projects assigned by either the PM, Business Operations Lead, or the Government, including project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance
Monitors, adjusts, and reports on the project’s performance, budget, and schedule, including travel, labor, and material charges
Provides coordination between the COR, USSTRATCOM Program Office, and CACI with contract actions, contract modifications, and other communications
Ensures the proper collection, distribution, maintenance, and archive of project development and execution documentation
Provides interim progress reviews to the Government on an as-needed basis
Assists with proposing, implementing, and enforcing Government policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
Interacts during client negotiations and interfaces with senior management
Provides decision-making and domain knowledge for critical impact on overall project implementation
Manage and control change order processes, and communicate with stakeholders change order implications
Meet with executive management and stakeholders to report project status. Manage and communicate project risks; Identify the critical path; Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans
Manages and mentors mid-level project managers
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree with a discipline in any of the following: Engineering, Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Manufacturing, Management
Experience with DOD or DOE contracts and programs
8 or more years of experience managing technical projects and teams
Required 8140 Cert: 802 - Advanced; Approved DoD 8140 cyber-related certification; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
Additional Cert: PMP and/or Agile Scrum Master or equivalent certification
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proficiency in project management software and tools
In-depth knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies
Minimum Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility

The proposed salary range for this position is:
