Job Title: Microsoft Services- Sales Lead (Senior role)
Location: Mumbai
Position Overview
The Microsoft Services Sales Lead will play a critical role in driving the sales of Microsoft’s services portfolio, including but not limited to Azure cloud, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and other enterprise solutions. The role focuses on developing business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored Microsoft solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Lead the sales efforts for Microsoft services, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and growth objectives. Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their business challenges and identifying how Microsoft services can help. Solution Selling: Engage with customers to understand their business requirements and tailor solutions based on Microsoft’s cloud, software, and technology products. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, expand existing accounts, and enhance customer loyalty. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (technical, marketing, consulting) to create and deliver proposals, presentations, and demonstrations. Market Insights: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to ensure Microsoft’s services remain competitive and relevant. Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, account updates, and performance metrics to senior leadership. Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and discussions with clients to close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Customer Success: Ensure that customers realize the full potential of Microsoft services by working closely with delivery teams and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Partnership: Has to build the partnership with the OEM and then manage and maintain the same on an ongoing basis.Qualifications:
• Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. • Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on technology, cloud services, or enterprise solutions. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business growth. Experience selling Microsoft services such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or other related technologies is preferred.Skills:
Strong understanding of Microsoft products, cloud computing, and enterprise software. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and handle complex sales cycles. Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
