**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.
**What your background should look like:**
**ACTIVITIES:**
• To assure that the companies operate under several official regulations (state and Federal) related to occupational and environmental health.
• Verify the employee’s safe work conditions.
• Maintain the official regulation documentation updating and available and identify available safety technology for the plant. Audit and coordination of the chemical warehouse controls.
• Coordination of Safety, Emergency and Hygiene Committee. Periodic inspection to work areas to verify safety conditions in the facilities.
• Follow up on the annual safety program and identify corrective actions. Provide materials recycling alternatives.
• Lookup for chemical materials that have no potential impact on the employee’s health. Suppliers’ evaluation related to services, safety, or environmental issues.
• To keep under control the documentation required for the company procedures. Annual environmental monitoring of Noise, chemicals, and hazardous materials in the plant according to the official regulations.
• Auditing to the official books (registers) defined by the Official Labor Offices. Promoting and following up on the plant safety programs and environmental control.
• Participation in internal auditing related to safety and hygiene to the facilities. Provide training related to Environmental, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Control topics to all plant levels. Identify and implement safety programs to reduce occupational risk in the plant.
• Supervise the proper application systems and programs related to the safety, health, and environmental control of direct reports. Follow up and supervision to comply with the EHS indicator
• Establish the Environmental Health, Safety, and Hygiene Control goals for every one of the team and follow up the accomplishment.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
-Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
-Minimum experience 5 years on a similar roles
