MGR I QUALITY At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. **Job Overview** Develop and implement quality plan, budget, policies and systems; and supervise quality assurance activities with the objective of ensuring TE's product quality meet customers and external agencies' standards within corporate headquarter quality systems, policies and procedures; and relevant local regulations. **What your background should look like:** **People Management:** 1. Lead the quality control department, , Allocate and balance work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports; mentor, develop and motivate them; guide resolve tough people/functional issues in the team; submit manpower application; interview candidates and provide feedback to achieve the section performance target, retain and develop key talent. 2. Assure compliance to requirements and optimization of process capabilities to ensure product quality,customer service,and cost effectiveness. 3. Lead the team to reduce DPPM, customer complaints, customer returns values and quality cost. **Procedure & Policy** 1. Check the department policies and initiate the policy change, prepare the related materials, and follow up and monitor the policy execution. 2. To ensure the procedures and policies in line with corporate standards are well executed **Budgeting** 1. Communicate with functional teams and prepare the department budget and work plan annually, and compare the expenses with the budget monthly; summarize the result, analyze, and report to the department director to propose a practical department budget and conduct effective control. **Quality control** 1. Approve the internal/external deviation requests and 4M changes; organize monthly manager internal audit; monitor the DPPM performance, and coordinate activity to improve DPPM. 2. Approve the supplier classification and the critical claims to manage supplier quality within the required standards. 3. Periodically review the in-process quality targets and quality cost, and initiate quality meetings to resolve the critical quality issues in order to ensure in-process quality meet required standards and reduce quality problems within the production in-process. **Documentation Control** 1. Review and approve the quality-related document as a working instruction, inspection plan, evaluate deviation risk, and monitor the execution. **Quality issue** 1. Guide the engineers to solve on-site quality issues and take preventive actions; help to solve cross-functional issues and evaluate and balance the quality, delivery, and cost in order to solve quality issues timely manner and prevent similar cases from happening. 2. Lead problem-solving of supplier-related defects, lead supplier improvement initiatives, analyze manufacturing and supply chain quality data, and lead the problem-solving activities. **Quality Improvement** 1. Initiate and monitor the monthly cross audit, review the results, and follow up on the corrective actions; review the department's 6 sigma improvement monthly; and monitor the engineers' conduct daily quality improvement to drive the continuous quality improvement **Reporting** 1. Prepare the operation performance report 2. Collect and analyze the quality-related data, and report to the DND BU Quality Team a timely and accurate report to management and related parties. **Education, Technical Qualification & Experience** 1. Bachelor's degree 2. Major in engineering 3. 8 ~ 10 years working experience in the quality area, including 2 years of people management 4. Effective bilingual 5. Negotiation skills 6. Teamwork 7. Logical thinking 8.
