Job Overview/Summary: As part of IRC’s Strategy 100, the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Coordinator will enhance program quality by ensuring data-driven service delivery, refining data collection and reporting processes, and strengthening evidence-based decision-making. This role will develop and implement monitoring, evaluation, and learning strategies, ensuring that program outcomes are effectively measured, analyzed, and used to inform service delivery. The MEL Coordinator will oversee data integrity, quality assurance, and analysis across multiple platforms, contributing to funder reporting, program evaluation, and continuous learning. The role requires strong collaboration with program teams, technical advisors, and leadership to enhance organizational impact and client-centered service delivery. The role will be heavily involved in overseeing and supporting quality assurance and data tracking for Survivor Services programs, along with supporting the rest of the Sacramento programs as needed. Major Responsibilities: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning + Lead the development and implementation of project indicator tracking systems and data collection tools in collaboration with program teams and stakeholders. + Work with relevant Technical Advisors and IRC’s ETO team to set up projects in Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) and other databases to capture and analyze data-driven service delivery. + Ensure the integrity of program data across systems, including ETO, Clinician’s Gateway, Salesforce, and other reporting platforms. + Conduct internal audits, monitoring, and evaluations across programs to assess compliance, effectiveness, and impact. + Develop and implement strategies to collect and incorporate client feedback, ensuring data informs program improvements. + Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and support strategic decision-making. + Produce quarterly and annual evaluation reports, program dashboards, and data visualization reports for funders, donors, and internal stakeholders. + Lead the implementation of client survey and feedback mechanisms, ensuring the client voice informs service improvements. Data Management & Quality Assurance + Oversee data entry, accuracy, and quality assurance, ensuring unduplicated client records and compliance with reporting requirements. + Train and support project staff on data entry and tracking tools, ensuring consistency and efficiency in client management systems. + Develop and improve data tracking systems across programs to enhance reporting and accountability. + Conduct financial reconciliation for relevant programs, including quarterly reporting for Resettlement & Placement (R&P) and Matching Grant (MG) programs. + Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors and funders by pulling and analyzing reports from multiple systems. + Serve as the point of contact (POC) for data systems such as IRIS, ETO, and Clinician’s Gateway, ensuring smooth integration and troubleshooting issues. + Assist in compiling data and deliverables for program reports required by funders and stakeholders. Training & Capacity Building + Provide training to program staff, interns, and volunteers on ETO, IRIS, Salesforce, Clinician’s Gateway, and other databases. + Host monthly Data Q&A sessions for staff, ensuring continuous learning and troubleshooting of data-related challenges. + Support staff capacity-building in data-driven decision-making, evaluation methodologies, and client feedback integration. Program & Organizational Support + Collaborate with program managers to ensure program design incorporates evaluable components and measurable outcomes. + Assist the Site Director in maintaining program documentation, trackers, and reporting mechanisms. + Work with the Development team to analyze donor and grant data, providing reports to inform funding strategies. + Support the Northern California Development Team in prospect research, donor reporting, and funding proposal data analysis. + Contribute to team cohesion activities, office-wide meetings, and leadership meetings to align MEL efforts with broader strategic goals. Key Working Relationships: Reports to:Sacramento Director Supervises:MEL/Data & Reporting Interns as needed Internal:Works closely with Sacramento Leadership Team, Development Team, and Operations. External:Engages with IRC HQ MEL teams, funders, and local stakeholders as necessary. Job Requirements: + University undergraduate degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for degree. + Experience with related professional work, preferably in social service case management or program management software, client relationship management, relational databases, or other information systems for client management. Skills and Competencies: + Strong knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research. + Proven experience in data management systems, including ETO, Salesforce, Clinician’s Gateway, or similar platforms. + Ability to interpret and analyze data to inform program decisions and reporting. + Expertise in data quality assurance, reporting, and donor compliance. + Strong project management skills. + Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for compiling and visualizing data effectively. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and visualization. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Self-starter with problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. + Experience conducting staff training in data management systems. + Fluency in English written and spoken required + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving. Compensation:Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
