JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The Medical affair specialist, Health & Wellbeing will be acting as medical affair panels and identifying medical and scientific key knowledge gaps. Medical visit and maintain relationships with wider key opinion leaders (KOLs) to seek professional channel endorsement; Functional report to medical affair (assistant) manager on medical marketing work by facilitating physician outreach and driving project implementation. The role will have heavy cross functional interactions and coordination across global R&D and China whole team and institute to ensure timely delivery of the objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Medical visit and maintain relationships with wider key opinion leaders (KOLs) to seek professional channel endorsement.Supporting medical events (medical meetings, patients' education, etc.) and ensuring all activities align with compliance and supporting responsible area.Working closely with commercial team on trainings to ensure high quality services to consumers.Establishing and nurturing relationships with doctors via WeChat Work and devising a comprehensive engagement strategy.Functional report to medical affair (assistant) manager on medical marketing campaign to build a robust network of healthcare professionals, engage with physicians effectively, and ensure the seamless execution of projects.Leading plug & play project as market entrance and FAQ cautions creation.Partially assisting head of R&D on document management and RD daily operation.

KEY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree required in food science or pharmaceutical. Master’s degree would be preferred.2+ years’ working experience as medical affair in Healthy food company, metabolism area would be preferred.Excellent understanding of Product development and clinical study principles, especially on hair wellness healthy food. Ability to lead more complex portfolio of innovation/quality & Value Improvement Project (VIP) projects including multiple brands/regions/ technologies.Problem-solving ability using innovative thought and good scientific judgmentExperience working with cross functional teams across geographiesExcellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work well with others, and ability to plan and execute work independently with minimal supervision. Able to interact effectively with the most senior levels of management both internally and externallyAbility to lead projects with multiple external parties including contractors, research partners, manufacturing facilities, etc.
