Job Description

This will be at least a 6 month internship onsite with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Assist engineering team in product design and developmentDevelop 2D and 3D modeling of HVAC equipment in CAD systems (NX/AutoCad/Solid Works)Support engineers with product development tasks such as Design Sketch, ECR creation, prototyping.Develop basic details and assembly drawings for products and equipment.Create Drawings for Legacy products -Reverse ENGBill Of Material development and maintaining.Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation.Document and maintain Tech product data.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical preferred)Minimum GPA of 3.0Knowledge of CAD (NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages)Proficient in Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of engineering fundamentals.Excellent oral and written communication skillsThis will be at least a 6 month internship onsite with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Strong interpersonal skillsTest prototypes and write reports to document resultsAbility to develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipmentAbility to perform mechanical design calculationsAbility to perform basic design modificationsOwnership to resolve technical problems or prompt response to address issues and escalate as neededBe a team player within cross function teams, understand multidiscipline needs (engineering, marketing, assembly, logistics, purchasing,etc.Proficient with hands on skills (cutting, forming, fabricating, brazing, welding)Strong organizational skills
