The Materials Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement, storage, planning and distribution of materials required for the company's operations. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring that the materials needed for production are available on time and within budget. In addition, is also responsible for leading a team, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
This position is part of the Operations team located in Hialeah, FL and will be an on-site position. At Beckman Coulter, our mission is to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Develop and implement strategies for procuring materials efficiently and cost-effectively.
+ Oversee inventory levels to ensure that materials are available without overstocking.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of materials management professionals.
+ Identify and implement process/continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Collaborate with cross-functionally with other departments to align material availability with production schedules.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, or a related field with 9+ years of experience
+ 2+ years in a leadership role owning the lead on projects, groups or staff
+ Proficiency in ERP/SAP inventory management software, preferably Oracle
+ Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Master's degree
+ Familiarity with Kaizen, and chemistry, biology, or related field
+ Certifications such as CPSM or CPIM
Working Conditions:
+ May require occasional travel to supplier sites and company locations.
+ Work is typically performed in an office setting, with some time spent in warehouses or production facilities.
