General Purpose of the Position:

Complete the assigned functions of our distribution center safely, efficiently, and accurately, in accordance with our operational procedures and within the established times. This helps ensure that all daily work is completed. This includes functions ranging from inventory control, material handling, and order processing.

Main Responsibilities

Perform all tasks under the Safety and Health guidelines to preserve personal safety, the safety of colleagues, and company facilities and equipment.Reception: Responsible for receiving incoming materials and reporting discrepancies as needed in a timely manner, including maritime imports, air shipments, and local purchases.Storage: Responsible for efficiently placing materials in the appropriate storage they are available as quickly as possible for shipment to customers.Order Picking: Responsible for picking customer orders, locating the accurate products, and preparing orders and materials for shipment.Order Shipping: Responsible for overall order fulfillment, including verifying the material to be shipped, packing lists, batches, expiration dates, and labeling according to each customer's requirements.Product Labeling: Responsible for strategically and thoughtfully labeling materials according to internal procedures and customer requirements.Repacking Materials: Responsible for safely repacking products according to repacking specifications.Perform daily warehouse cleaning/organization according to applicable procedures.Align with all policies, practices, and procedures associated with the specific responsibilities of the department.Provide recommendations to immediate supervisors and area management.Find areas for improvement in existing processes and procedures.Accurately use work equipment: carts, stackers, forklifts, etc.Complete the corresponding records according to standard operating procedures.

Basic Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.1-3 years experience in a similar role at a Distribution Center, with a confirmed work history in warehouse operations, inventory control, order preparation, and/or shipping.The ideal candidate will have the ability to accurately record details and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in their first language (Spanish); a basic understanding of English would be advantageous.​Preferred knowledge of computer software like Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn new computer systems. Previous experience operating a forklift or other type of powered industrial vehicle is required.Valid forklift/stacker license.Frequently lifts, moves, pulls, and/or pushes boxes weighing up to 30 kilograms.
