Job Description


The Global Accounting and Process Digitalization (GAPD) team own and improve the global operating model and manage our shared service providers. The aim of the global Business Process Optimization team – part of GAPD team - is to optimize the value flow along globally streamlined end-to-end financial processes.


The Global Master Data Management (MDM) Expert is instrumental for shaping, enforcing, and implementing the Master Data Management part of end-to-end process flows within Supply Chain.If this sounds like a team, you'd like to join … keep reading.


The role includes improving Master Data Management (MDM) processes, managing the lifecycle of data domains, governance of the Chart of Account data domains, driving data quality and enabling future reporting and data analytics needs plus supports key DSC Finance program “Reimagine Finance”.


The Global MDM CoA – Master Data Expert is an experienced MDM specialist and coach / consultant on Master data management topics. The Global MDM CoA Process Tower facilitates the essential sharing of knowledge and best practices across all regions. Thereby the finance organization is enabled to focus on its core tasks. Key accountabilities:

Responsibilities


Leading the preparation and transformation of Chart of Account data from the source to the target system OneCloud to successfully support the DSC Finance program, “Reimagine Finance – Moving DSC Finance to Cloud technology.”Facilitating discussions and collaborating closely with country and regional teams (OTC, RTR, and PTP) to ensure consistent use of Master Data and a seamless transition from the old ERP system to OneCloud.Engaging in dialogue and working closely with all other process tower teams (OTC, RTR, and PTP) to integrate these towers into a globally consistent Master Data Management process and data model.Promoting discussions and collaborating with other functions to enable cross-functional utilization of master data management.Leading the development of Master Data Management domains in alignment with countries, regions, and other Supply Chain functions.

Required Education and Experience

Strong accounting, finance, or Oracle Financials experienceProven experience with relational databases and SQLUnderstanding and experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Visual Basic, PL/SQL) (desirable)Oracle Financials, Oracle FDMEE, or other MDM tools experience (e.g., EBX)Excellent computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software applicationsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and documentation skillsExcellent negotiation abilitiesConceptual, strategic, and creative mindset who works independently and able to solve complex problems.Desire to learn new things.
