Marketing & Sales Analytics Principal SpecialistSummary:
The Business Analyst is an essential role for the proper delivery of Business Analytics services. Based on a deep understanding of business processes and strong knowledge of the supporting technologies, the business analyst is able to effectively translate customer requirements into functional specifications and high-level technical designs.
This position is an internal customer-facing role and it requires the ability to identify, deliver and manage business analytics services supporting the internal customers' needs while keeping the processes and tools as standard and integrated as possible. The scope of this position is the reporting and analytics services related to the Amadeus Marketing & Sales processes.
In this role you will be responsible for :
Automated Solution Identification:
• Advise internal customers on business Analytics services.
• Based on high level business requirements, recommend potential solutions and provide with high level implementation design
Functional Design
• Collect and document the detailed business specifications with internal customers.
• Analyze the detailed impact on existing processes and on the usage of existing tools supporting these processes.
• Define functional requirements of the solution using standard services whenever possible.
Solution construction:
• Validate technical requirement with the Internal Business Solution Architects/Engineers and support development team during the software implementation.
• Follow up and monitor the overall construction of the solution.
• Ensure the execution of non-regression/performance tests.
• Execute the end to end functional tests.
• Coordination user acceptance tests.
• Produce user documentation and educational materials (including user communications) to facilitate user understanding and adoption
Solution maintenance and support:
• Perform the application functional L3 support (customer/production).
• Propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance.
Team engagement:
- Assists, guides and supports team members in their assigned functions with focus on service delivery processes.
- Actively participates in all agile ceremonies.
- Contributes to increase team engagement
About the ideal candidate:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, economics or equivalent work experience.A minimum of 10 years of experience in customer facing activities related to Marketing and Sales Analytics Projects (collection and documentation of business requirements, change management, coordination of User Acceptance Tests…), with at least 2 years in coordination, guidance of small teams (3-5 people)Excellent knowledge of Marketing & Sales processes.Good knowledge of Marketing & Sales analytics ecosystem (Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics).Knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI, QlikSense).Fluency in EnglishGood understanding of Amadeus Organization, how BUs and Corporate Functions work, with their inter-departmental dependencies.#LI-EMEA
