**Role Description**
The Area Franchise Manager actively drives APAC level marketing strategy and execution to achieve above market growth and business targets as well as delivering value for customers. Acts as a subject matter expert on the landscape and our products / solutions, and partners with regional/country teams to drive the area and country marketing plans. Proactively identifies new opportunities to grow and differentiate our solutions; collaborates across the organization to effectively expand use of our assays and launch new products and solutions on time, on budget, and with impact across the area.
**Lead competencies**
+ Proactively manages all aspects of marketing the IA franchise in the area
+ Is a subject matter expert in a number of disease panels
+ Is highly knowledgeable about the area landscape, including competitive offerings and strategy
+ Drives the overall development and execution of the area marketing plan for the franchise, ensuring the right people across global, area and country are engaged and aligned
+ Develops messaging and sales tools that help promote assays to various relevant stakeholders
+ Actively drives KOL development and engagement
+ Actively collaborates with medical affairs team to achieve objectives
+ Actively supports the country teams to build relationships with relevant societies and associations
+ Influences and trains sales, country marketing teams and area leaders to ensure strategy and plan are understood / actioned
+ Anticipates challenges and risks, using proactive contingency and scenario planning
+ Effectively forecasts impact of launches for the area, and gains alignment on targets
+ Drives the development of area launch plans, working with country teams, ensuring they are relevant, realistic and robust – reflecting area customer / market insights and global priorities
+ Takes responsibility for achieving targets / growing the business in the area
+ Actively tracks & shares progress toward goals, adapting where required
+ Coaches country teams to set clear performance metrics for programs and regularly track performance
**Key Deliverables**
IA marketing strategy, tactics, KPIs and plan for the area
Close coordination with global and country marketing to achieve goals and expected outcomes
Robust area launch plans for relevant new product / solutions
Day to day franchise management and support
**Success Measures**
IA sales and market shares
Achievement of successful launches and campaigns on time and on budget, achieving agreed KPIs
Development of KOLs
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor degree in medicine, life sciences, pharmacy, or related technical discipline. MBA is preference.
+ Needs to have leadership presence to manage the IA Franchise and to influence people
+ Customer focused , Winning mindset
+ Fact-based decision maker: able to analyze multiple data sources and dig deep to understand
+ Thinks strategically, asking ‘why?’ and ‘what value will this bring?’ when making choices
+ Challenges the status quo and acts as a change agent – helps people remove barriers
+ Proactively solves problems or challenges creatively
+ Results driven, brings solutions to the market with quality
+ Strong communication skills - can simplify the complex and explain to others
+ Culturally savvy, crossing geographic boundaries
+ The candidate must international healthcare marketing experience
+ Prior experience in diagnostics and sales is preferred
+ Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong achievement in past work experience.
+ Travel - 25% of time
