Key Responsibilities
Engage as part of the Demand Generation leadership team to define best-in-class marketing activities to support customer journeys within our campaigns, utilizing all relevant marketing tactics and methods from early stage awareness through to post-engagement follow-up.
Turn the plans into marketing activity ‘blueprints’ which can be executed at EMEA and/or regional level with a clear ROI against the specific campaign needs; work with and support regional execution teams to see the blueprints turned into action and success
Provide thought leadership to broader Demand Generation and Sales stakeholders on overall areas to invest marketing efforts into and why; be able to assess and challenge marketing investment requests to ensure they are the best possible things to do
Represent Oracle Technology Marketing with external partners such as LinkedIn or other CMO groups
Proposed Role / Key areas of experience
The Marketing Innovation Leader will report directly to the VP of Marketing and Demand Generation for EMEA Technology
You will centrally design customer facing marketing activity ‘blueprints’ to be utilized within our demand generation campaigns, working in collaboration with and using the expertise of our Field Marketing teams
You must have a proven and demonstrable track-record of developing/executing current (recent) marketing innovation activity, most likely gained within a Marketing Agency or other B2B technology company; recent experience of working for and/or with Oracle in design or execution roles is a benefit but not essential
You’ll have a proven and demonstrable awareness of how to leverage different marketing tactics such as events, on-line and third party marketing models to maximize their impact as part of an overall customer journey – you’ll be enthusiastic about reviewing new ideas and bringing innovative ideas into the mix
You must have an ability to network quickly and effectively to develop trust-based collaboration within Oracle EMEA and global teams; links with external marketing and design agencies are useful but not essential
