**1.RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Responsible for annual and long-term business development results
+ Executes marketing strategies to grow the business as per the Strategic Plan and help the sales team to meet annual sales quotas and profitability.
+ Develops and executes market strategies aimed at maximizing market share, excellent new product launches and build brand awareness and customer loyalty.
+ Creates and executes innovative strategic plans to support both annual sales targets and provide a foundation for long-term business growth.
+ Develops customer relationships with the key opinion leaders (including international proctors) that influence the business.
+ Personally, engages in developing and monitoring major strategic sales initiatives; participates in developing and managing major accounts; lead new product introductions; and works for expanding the overall market along with customer associations.
+ Track and collate market research and competition data to enable formulation of country strategic and sales and marketing plans.
+ Personally involved in selecting, developing, motivating, and retaining a high-performance marketing team.
+ Ensures the marketing resources dedicated to the division measure up to and implement activities of the high-performance guidelines embedded in the High-Performance Marketing Management (HPMM) standard
+ Ensures that all the marketing activities are legally and ethically compliant, without compromising our code of conduct, and the principles stated in St. Jude Medical compliance manual.
**2.REQUIREMENTS:**
**Industry Experience**
+ Develops and maintains new business, works closely with Physicians to become a source of education and information. Gains respect and trust with internal and external customers quickly.
+ Previous experience in coaching and mentoring staff.
+ Good understanding of the industry process and function; able to convincingly discuss the industry process and function with customers, as well as internal and external experts.
**Selling Skills**
+ Selling skills that include managing customer relationships, discovery of customer needs/requirements, follow up of sales leads, demonstrating the products, able to develop solutions and resolve problems, negotiating and closing the deal.
**Other Skills**
+ Impact and influence: Develop and uses effective strategies to influence others or to gain their support.
+ Open communication and listening: Ensures an accurate understanding and act in a way that facilitates open exchange of ideas and information.
+ Organizational awareness: Understands the agendas and perspectives of others; able to recognize and effectively balance the interests and needs of one’s own group with those of the broader organization.
+ Planning and organizing: Effectively identifies, plans, schedules, and co-ordinates the resources (people, material, information, time) required to accomplish your goals.
**Computer Skills**
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suites i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Qualifications
+ Tertiary qualifications in biomedical / engineering / medical science / human movement or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) essential.
+ Additional tertiary qualifications in business management are advantageous.
