The OpportunityWe’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our regional Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about social media, events, brand communication, and team collaboration to support meaningful campaigns and help bring Cigna Healthcare’s mission to life, both internally and externally.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day execution and coordination of marketing activities across the region. Your core focus will be:
Social Media & Content SupportCoordinate and manage social media content in collaboration with local agencies across all Cigna Healthcare MEA platformsReview and brief agencies on creative direction and ensure content aligns with our brand voice and objectivesDraft, edit, and publish compelling content for internal and external audiences across blogs, newsletters, social posts, and emails
Event Coordination & Brand ActivationSupport the planning and execution of corporate and wellness events, webinars, and activationsAssist in organizing logistics, promotional materials, speaker support, and post-event follow-upMaintain brand consistency in all marketing touchpoints and event materials
Team Support & Internal AlignmentDrive the end-to-end organization of monthly marketing team meetings, including agenda setting, minute taking, and follow-up trackingAssist in updating Cigna Healthcare’s internal and external platforms with the latest news, initiatives, and industry updatesMonitor and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social insights, and provide value-added recommendations
What We’re Looking ForA Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, social media, PR, or event coordinationBilingual fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written)Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first attitudeProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); basic understanding of social media tools and analytics platformsA self-starter who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and isn’t afraid to ask questions or seek support when needed
Working StyleHybrid work model: Based at Cigna Healthcare’s DWTC office twice a week (Tuesdays mandatory); second day flexible upon manager approvalMust be responsive and reachable during working hours
