MANUFACTURING TEAM LEADER II **At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.** **Job Overview** TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes. **Responsibility:** • To perform manufacturing duties to the best of your ability, maintaining quality and efficiency standards. • Responsible for manapower planning , allocation, leave management and traning and appraisals of team members in the line as per self managed team concept • Responisble for production planning, material planning and allocation of resources as per shift schedule . • Coordiantion with project management team, planning and procurement team to meet the delivery schedule. • Carrying out the wire & cable harness process as per COP/IPC/Standard Procedure. • Demonstatre care and attention to assemble the company products from component level to final build stage, as per the instructions. • Maintian current product quality and make recommendations deriving alternate process methods to improve quality/productivity. • Continue to increase productivity levels to meet company targets , whilst maintaining quality standards • Responsible for improving labour efficiency of the line through lean tools practices. • Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives like Kaizens and other improvement projects in line. • Responsible for maintaining 5S and updating of autonomous maintenance records and production records as per set frequency. • Have awareness on the chemicals used in the assembly lines.
