Job Summary
Ensure the responsible project could achieve the customer requirement and business value (incl. internal value added such as lessons learnt, patent, etc.).Responsible for the project performance (quality, cost and time).Align the expectation of the project stakeholders.Job Scope
2.1 Drive and lead the cross functional project team to fulfill the project targets in term of cost, quality and timely SOP.
2.2 Mitigate risk, remove obstacle and escalate issues beyond own authority to SO/PSO/ExO and review committee.
Report regularly project status and align timely project changes with Project Review Committee and affected stakeholders.2.3 Make decisions within approved Project Charter / Project Management Plan.
Define Project Charter and Project Management Plan together with project sponsors and affected stakeholders.Leading project team to escalate decision or support needs beyond Project Charter and/or Project Management Plan to the Review Committee. (Lead project team to prepare proposals for review committee decision making).2.4 Plan, implement, monitor and close project.
Expertise in PIF (Product Innovation Framework) process. Implement PIF process (including necessary training or coaching to team members) into projects. Ensure PIF process and documentation quality in the projects, comply with mandatory work packages.Plan project budget in detail. And (Machine & Equipment) MAE, (Tooling) EWAK planning of the project (if required). Control project budget to ensure budget control within agreed allocation.2.5 Mentor and coach project team to improve team performance and Product Development Processes.
Keep learning and adapt project management methodologies into the projects (e.g. SCRUM) to improve project team performance.Demonstrate project leadership, cultivate high performance culture into the project teams.Participate in nomination, performance evaluation and further qualification of project team members.Contribute to improvement of overall project performance via project lessons learnt and/or good practice documentation and sharing. Identify opportunities in process optimization, initiate improvement (or even coordinate in some cases) in order to improve future project performance2.6 Support and take over special tasks on section and department level as assigned by the superior
Job Requirement
Bachelor or above in Engineering or equivalent. Preferable with PMI certification.At least 5 years of professional experience.Experience in Product Development Process and the general industrial tools/processes used.Demonstrated project leadership.Working in international project teams using English.Significant experience in product design exposure will be added advantage. Proficient in project stakeholder management.Proficient in project risk management.Strong communication and negotiation skill with cross-functional team members and stakeholders.Excellent presentation skill.Expertise in project management methodologies.Mentor and coach skill to improve project team performance.Outstanding expertise in product development related field of competence will be added advantage.
