About this opportunity
As a result of recent organizational changes at Ericsson Estonia we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of People Operations to join our team in Estonia in this newly created role.
As a Manager of People Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the delivery of HR support across the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in people operations and management. This is a full time hybrid position working 60% on site at the Tallinn head office.
What you will do
• Lead and manage the People Operations team to ensure the effective implementation of HR delivery and support.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align People strategies accordingly.
• Drive process improvements and ensure the efficient delivery of HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration etc.
• Monitor and analyse HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR delivery and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, maintaining a strong understanding of the Estonian HR landscape.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting Ericsson’s values and culture.
• Support organizational change initiatives and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.
The skills you bring
• Proven experience in HR management or HR operations, preferably within a multinational company.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of Estonian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational behaviour, psychology or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Language proficiency in Estonian and English. Russian language competence is considered as an advantage
• Proficiency in HR software and systems; familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors & Virosoft tools are an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and matrix environment.
