Overview
The Enterprise Data Accessibility team is looking for a Manager, Data Engineering to drive the enablement and support of our Business Intelligence products by innovating, problem-solving, and fostering a collaborative team culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about people leadership and data-driven decision making, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and has experience leveraging technology to solve problems.
Role
•\tLead the development and support of Business Intelligence products to help internal users maximize the value of enterprise data
•\tLead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and innovation.
•\tEncourage continuous learning and improvement within the team.
•\tMentor junior engineers and cultivate a strong engineering culture.
•\tProvide coding and design guidance to junior team members
•\tProvide strategic leadership on architecture, methodologies, and best practices.
•\tCollaborate with peers to remove barriers and help enable the team’s success.
•\tOptimize processes for better data delivery, scalability, and reliability.

•\tDemonstrated leadership skills in matrix-based teams and working with diverse, geographically distributed members.
•\tStrong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile Methodologies, and engineering best practices.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
