To Support creation, maintenance, and execution of Country Government Affairs and Business Sustainability strategy.To work with the management on Federal & Provincial Government Affairs issues being faced by the organization/ Industry.Active stakeholder engagement with all the relevant Ministries, Provincial Departments, LEAs, Multilaterals and other relevant stakeholders including Industry Forums such as Croplife.Collaborate with cross- functional Syngenta teams to advance Syngenta priorities in the crop protection, seeds, and sustainability space.Support to business units by engaging relevant Government and Non Government Institutions including partnerships with Financial InstitutionsManage external communications for Syngenta, Pakistan across all platforms including, Digital & Print Media.Showcasing Syngenta activities over Syngenta Accounts on Linkendin,Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram etc
Sustainability Accountabilities
Work closely with Supply Chain & Regulatory team to come up with Sustainability Programs.Support development of a sustainability strategy for the Country business aligned with the region on key focus areas (Climate, Regenerative Agriculture, Biodiversity, Rural Prosperity, and Water , energy conservation etc) and global sustainability strategy.Data collection, Including metrics, KPIs and other sustainability measurement tools. Support and develop, where appropriate, Syngenta relationships with agricultural value chain companies, their suppliers, growers, and other stakeholders to assist in advancement of on farm sustainable solution initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into daily operationsContribute to the creation of sustainability reports and communications for internal and external stakeholdersSupport the coordination of sustainability-related training and awareness programsAssist in managing relationships with external sustainability partners and organizationsHelp identify and evaluate new sustainability opportunities and technologiesSupport the development of sustainable product and service offeringsAssist in ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree requiredMinimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Communications, Corporate Affairs, Sustainability functionAbility to collaborate with senior leaders and other senior executivesAbility to learn and work independently and proactivelyStrong writing and communications skillsStrong knowledge of agricultural industry stewardship and sustainability issues and challenges
