**Job Description Template** Position Title: Business development Manager – North Africa Position Description: 1. **Sales Target Ownership & Business Development** 2. Own and achieve sales targets across North Africa with support from product specialists. 3. Drive consultative solution selling across English proficiency, soft skills, content localization, and workforce analytics. 4. Identify and develop new opportunities in corporate (HR, L&D, CHROs) and government segments (ministries, public agencies). 5. Focus on key verticals such as banking, energy, telecom, education, and healthcare. 6. **Corporate & Government Sector Engagement** 7. Develop strong understanding of national workforce and digital skilling initiatives across Egypt and North Africa. 8. Build senior relationships with CHROs, L&D heads, and innovation officers in enterprise. 9. Engage ministries of education, labor, ICT, and public-sector skilling bodies to align with Pearson’s solutions. 10. Navigate tenders and funding models to drive participation in public workforce initiatives. 11. **Strategic Planning & Market Expansion** 12. Contribute to North Africa go-to-market planning in alignment with regional strategy. 13. Analyze market data, competitive landscape, and trends in corporate training and government-funded skilling. 14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design solutions for public-private partnerships. 15. **Solution Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration** 16. Co-create proposals with product, marketing, and solutioning teams to ensure relevance and competitiveness. 17. Support project scoping and implementation for corporate and public-sector clients. 18. Share market insights with regional teams to inform product development and messaging. 19. **CRM Utilization & Reporting** 20. Maintain accurate pipeline and account data in Salesforce or equivalent CRM. 21. Provide regular business reports, client updates, and sales forecasts.
