TITLE: Manager – Corporate Mechanical Storeroom USCAN

LOCATION: Westchester, IL.

JOB TYPE: Hybrid

REPORTS TO: Director, Reliability USCAN

SUPERVISION:  Storeroom Managers dotted line

The Manager will be responsible for ~$45MM/YR Spend and ~$100MM in asset inventory, while developing and implementing effective category strategies for spare parts MRP, aligning them with organizational goals, reliability programs, working capital, and cost-saving initiatives, ensuring availability and efficient inventory levels across the region.

This position is also responsible for developing reliable partnerships with key suppliers to guarantee plant continuity and value-added services, working closely with procurement to leverage corporate contracts.

This role will lead a cross-functional team and an effort with Procurement, Finance, Maintenance, EH&S, and Reliability, to develop a comprehensive strategy for managing MRO Parts across all US/CAN plants and leveraging on best global practices.

As a Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Develop, Implement and improve the IPS Spare Parts Management processManage inventory levels and reorder pointsPrepare and present corporate inventory reports to management.Utilize inventory management software to track, optimize, and manage inventory.Design and implement a national strategy for Mechanical Stores (Spare parts storeroom), including the network and technology that guarantee working capital optimization.Oversee the management of spare parts storeroom inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and accuracy while maximizing turnaround to avoid obsolete items. Implement inventory control systems and monitor inventory accuracy.Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Procurement teams to develop Mechanical Stores budgets, monitor spending, and work with procurement to reduce spendCreate/Improve Standard Operating Procedures to create scale, reduce obsolescence, and standardize processes.Establish KPI’s for delivered cost, inventory, payment terms, and cost reduction initiatives to identify process inefficiencyOversee the daily operations of the inventory room, supporting inventory room managers.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all inventory is properly documented.Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Qualified candidates will have:

A bachelor’s degree in business, supply management, engineering, or other related discipline, or equivalent experience.Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role.Financial and business acumenAbility to analyze information and provide insight-driven recommendationsAbility to work well both as part of a team and independentlyKnowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologiesKnowledge and understanding of purchasing practices, policies, and procedures; in-depth experience in using SAP as a value-creating tool for MRPExperience in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously with results consistent with management’s expectationsA demonstrated history of successfully collaborating with multiple internal stakeholdersStrong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and leadership skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Range:

$98,800.00-$131,733.33 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
