Title and Summary
Manager, Solution ArchitectManager, Solution Architect (Japan)The position of Manager, Solution Architect will be part of the Customer Solutions team, and will report to the Vice President, Solutions Architect. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving Mastercard’s next phase of growth in Japan – developing compelling ideas and solutions to help customers address growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
•\tPartner frontline sales teams during solutioning to maximize impact to customer
•\tCollaborate proactively with frontline sales teams together with other cross-functional teams to bring the best ideas and solutions to help customers achieve revenue and growth plans:
o\tClearly articulate customer pain points and opportunities
o\tDevelop powerful narratives to address customer pain points and opportunities, leveraging data, insights, best practices
o\tCreate winning engagement approaches, driving differentiation, resulting in stronger customer relationships
•\tCollaborate proactively with key internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute and manage key strategic initiatives e.g. Multi-currency product penetration
•\tSupport CSC Lead, Senior Vice President on developing internal and external materials articulating division strategy
All About You:
•\tExperience working for one of the major management consulting firms, or have worked at a payments company in products, solution sales, business development or customer facing roles
•\tPayments, financial services, and technology background would be highly desirable
•\tDeep understanding and experience of strategy development, implementation, and problem solving, including project and stakeholder management
•\tHighly collaborative; strong communicator, natural integrator with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategies and works as a liaison among key stakeholders to implement the strategy
•\tAbility to rally and gain backing from internal stakeholders (including senior managements) in order to build organizational support for the proposed strategy
•\tDemonstrated ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data, and derive meaningful implications and recommendations from said data
•\tFluent (above business level, including writing) in both Japanese and English
KPIs:
•\tSegment target revenue growth of X (for supported segment)
•\tGrow and deepen customer relationships through product penetration or bundled opportunities
•\tGrow number of opportunities supported by CSC in SF (utilization of CSC flag)
•\tScale best practices outside immediate Division or Cluster (measured through Community contribution)
