About the role The Manager, HR Associate Care/ HR Shared Service for UK & Ireland is responsible for leading our Associate Care/ Shared Services team in UK. The incumbent will lead a key pillar of our HR organization directly responsible for providing best in class experience to our associates. This position reports to the Human Resources Director for UK & Ireland (UK&I), based at one of our sites in UK – Amersham/ Portsmouth/ Ilfracombe/ Newquay/ Cardiff – and is an on-site role. You will lead our HR shared-services team with your strategic, clear, and communicative ability and with a trust-based approach. Your role will be broad, moving between management and governance, overarching strategic issues, and also handling and advising on operational matters. You are driven by delivering results that truly make a difference, while also having an analytical mind and the ability to identify solutions and make well-founded decisions. A supportive team player who creates a positive work environment. What you’ll do + Lead and develop your UK&I HR Associate Care Experience (ACE)/ HR Shared Services team. Build team’s capability in the areas of data-based decision making, problem solving, daily management and leveraging Danaher Business System (DBS) toolbox. + Drive Daily Management, leverage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards within UK&I HR team including ServiceNow case management. + Capture voice of customer, conduct data analysis from ACE dashboards and capture insights from UK&I HR business partnering team to identify key associate concerns. Conduct timely root cause analysis and arrive at countermeasures to improve associate experience. + Lead and drive change in HR ways of working as we incorporate and expand HR ACE/ HR shared-services model in the region, leveraging our global teams as well as in-country service delivery teams. + Work with global ACE and HR IT teams to further develop of our HR portal and organize our assets using digital 5S. + Collaborate with HR Business Partners (regional and global), HR centers of excellence, as well as HR operations teams such as payroll and HR IT to provide a best-in-class associate experience. Who you are + You are a seasoned Human Resources professional with experience in HR Shared Services implementation and management, including technical know-how (ServiceNow) as well as change management. + A formal education (bachelors’/ masters’ degree) in industrial/ organizational psychology/ human resource management/ business or a related field with 7+ years of experience in progressive roles in human resources, including 1-2 years of leading a team. + Experience of working in HR Shared Services delivery model. Added experience of HR Business Partnering is beneficial. Experience and familiarity with UK’s labour laws. + Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, and possesses intellectual curiosity, agility, and resourcefulness. + Capable of rolling up one’s sleeves to do what it takes to drive results; not hindered by process or ambiguity. + Willing to travel up to approximately 10% of the time within UK.
