Within this organization, the primary mission of the Offer Price and Optimization engineering teams is to optimize airline revenues by selling the right products at the right prices. Our overarching goal is to lead the industry towards modern retailing, characterized by dynamic, customer-centric, and optimized offers.

The team

The mission of our Offer Price and Availability execution team is to pave the way of the Nevio Availability and Pricing steps in close collaboration with the Offer Creation group. The team will design and develop the different flows and interfaces to integrate our Offer Optimization products.

Its main objectives are:

Closely collaborate with Offer Creation, Shopping and Pricing engine, Product and Retailing Optimization, Stock Keeper and Revenue Management System teams to make Nevio Pricing and Availability steps a realitySet the foundations of the Offer Price (from fare filing and ATPCO pricing to full dynamic pricing capabilities)Define the flows and interfaces for our Availability and Pricing Optimization productsEnsure a smooth transition from our current Altea solutions to our new Nevio ones

As manager of Offer Price and Availability execution team, you will:

Lead and develop your team (composed of Developers, Product Definition Analysts and Quality Analysts), foster team spirit and promote innovationSupport all team members, playing a key part in their career growthOrganize trainings and foster mentoring activities to ease onboarding and enable critical deliveriesEmpower your team of experts to efficiently influence, support and guide towards the design and validation of new solutions in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.Be the entry point and lead for the Offer Price determination.Lead discussions about innovative technologies and platform watch to support and power the cloud, Java Skube and our architecture runway.Take the performance challenges to the next level by leveraging on the FinOps and Design-to-Cost initiatives.Lead regular working groups on development and quality experience to improve our working environments and day to day activities.


Your responsibilities

Result Leader

Establish solid relationship with stakeholders (train amigos, SM/PO, BOs, PM...) and be able to influence and empower them.Accountable for the budget, performance and results of a medium-sized team or multiple teams of employees.Influence the resource, budget and policy planningAbility to manage time and effort to maximize team efficiency and quality of the delivery.Demonstrate ownership for your activities and scope with exposition to complex decision making. Ability to leverage personal knowledge and experience to contribute to/support train deliveries, remove impediments and guide/mentor train members. Collaborate with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure that systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance. 

People Leader

Create a positive and caring team culture that fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing.Ability to share and receive feedback in a proactive and constructive manner and encourage feedback sharing within team. Embark on the talent management journey and provide key insight for talent identification & development.Empower team members.Anticipate needs in terms of resources and competences for the team and translate it into concrete development plans for the team members.Cultivate an atmosphere which fosters the spirit of initiative, the motivation, and the engagement (no matter of experience or seniority).

About our ideal candidate

At least 5 years of experience in team leadership, including empowering team members, managing talent, and providing guidance to achieve a shared vision

Engineering backgroundEffective communication skills, decision making, influencing, and problem-solving abilitiesFluent in EnglishKnowledge of airline solutions is a plus
